✈️ By Air
The nearest airport is Gaya International Airport (GAY), just 12 km from the main ritual sites.
Direct flights are available from Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi.
Pilgrims arriving from abroad (like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand) also get seasonal flights.
From the airport, taxis and autos are easily available to reach Vishnupad Temple, Falgu River, and Akshay Vat.
🚆 By Train
Gaya Junction (GAYA) is a major railway station with trains from all major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna, and Varanasi.
Once you reach Gaya Junction, you can hire an auto or taxi to the ritual locations.
Most Pind Daan sites are within 3–5 km from the station.

Gaya is connected by good roads and national highways.

Patna → Gaya: 100 km (2–3 hrs by taxi or bus)
Varanasi → Gaya: 260 km (6–7 hrs)
Ranchi → Gaya: 230 km (5–6 hrs)

Most Pind Daan ritual spots (Vishnupad Temple, Akshay Vat, Falgu River) are close to each other.
Some walking (around 1 km) is required, so wear comfortable footwear.
