Narayan Bali Shradh
Narayan Bali Shradh is a sacred Vedic ritual performed to liberate the souls of ancestors and especially those who faced untimely or unnatural death (accident, suicide, war, or sudden illness). This ritual is described in the Garuda Purana and holds immense importance in Hindu tradition.
The puja is dedicated to Lord Narayan (Vishnu), requesting Him to grant peace (moksha) to wandering or unsatisfied souls (preta atma). Performing Narayan Bali at Gaya Ji, Bihar is considered extremely auspicious, as Lord Vishnu Himself resides here in the form of Vishnupad Temple.
